POW-1-ZC – Single Phase Zero Cross Over Pulse Width Modulated SCR Power Switch.
Libratherm offers ready to use Zero Cross Over pulse width modulated SCR Power Switch model POW-1-ZC for single-phase electrical heating loads. This power module comprises of Libratherm make Triggering Card model LZF-1, which generates the zero cross over firing pulses to control suitably rated back to back connected SCRs mounted on the electrically isolated heat sink with suitably rated input and output heavy-duty connectors for heaters and AC power supply. The entire assembly is mounted in an MS powder-coated enclosure, which in turn can be easily mounted inside the closed control panel. This Thyristor Power Switch can accept analog and digital control signals from a DDC or PID controller to accurately control the heater power. Libratherm offers a complete ready to use control panel with a suitable PID/Program temperature controller as per the user’s specifications and requirements.
